Today has been more organised than my slightly frazzled Monday. For a start, I managed to read a few more pages of my book on Contemplation and prayer. At the moment, it's dealing with awareness, which chimes with a lot of the work of Rupert Spira -- someone who I would like to hear in person in the not too distant future. I also managed to write my morning pages -- see the Artist's Way by Julia Cameron -- which is the way I always like to start my day. (Yesterday, I ended up writing them at 9.30pm.)
For the rest of the day, I'll be busy at work; later today I've got to head over to Exeter University -- it's about an hour away -- for a mentor/mentee evening (the first of many I suspect) where I've been asked to take two budding law graduates under my wing. Let's hope I don't drop too many unsubtle hints to give up on their dreams, whatever they are. Trust me, if I had my time over again, I wouldn't have gone into private practice.
I doubt if I'll get any further 'me' stuff done but I will make time for a meditative walk and sitting (if it doesn't rain in Torquay) at some point.
Have a good day.
