Slow down, please

“Spending more time with friends and family costs nothing. Nor does walking, cooking, meditating, making love, reading or eating dinner at the table instead of in front of the television. Simply resisting the urge to hurry is free.” Carl Honoré

We turbo charge our lives.

The destination seems way more important than what we experience along the way, i.e. life.

But, at the risk of stating the inane, it doesn't have to be this way (or any other way).

Please take a moment to sit still, leave you damn phone alone and breathe 10 deep breaths, and listen to everything -- inside and out.

It feels good doesn't it?

But it's only a very small start.

Of course, you fear that by doing so little you'll miss out on something more profound. How dumb.

Life is in the moment. And the longer we're able to enjoy it, the more we'll enjoy life.

Have a great Saturday.
