  • Sun, 12:12: Everyone out. Just me and the pooches. Silence reigns.
  • Sun, 12:36: I haven't written much of late. The problem has been that I've had this massive shift in my view and perception of the world (i.e. humanity) and it's sort of thrown me out the writing nest. I'll find my mojo again but for now I'm trying to absorb all that I've learnt.
  • Sun, 13:56: Is it unethical to have kids in the era of climate change? A philosophy professor explains https://t.co/rgIuTsStFF https://t.co/l5Hq51K883
  • Sun, 17:26: I'm sure it's no surprise but why is it everything we do, say and act upon is so anthropocentric? It's like everything else doesn't exist. Even the climate change trope isn't focused on all of nature but (just) our very survival.
  • Sun, 17:30: I'll still never understand the justification for eating meat/fish or consuming dairy products particularly with our love for our pets.
  • Sun, 18:12: How would you know the difference between a dream world and the real one?
  • Mon, 06:00: "An idea, a being, anything which becomes incarnate loses identity, turns grotesque. Frustration of all achievement. Never quit the possible, wallow in eternal trifling, forget to be born." -- Emil Cioran, The Trouble With Being Born
  • Mon, 06:35: I just published: It’s all about us https://t.co/3s8UprU7pS

  • Mon, 11:25: I'll never understand why law firms spend so much effort hiring people but so little time on keeping people. Talk about making things hard for themselves.
  • Mon, 11:30: Why don't we see how human exceptionalism is wrecking this planet? Future generations -- if they still exist -- will have to grapple with our hyper-individuation which is premised on the idea of (amongst many other things) be all you can be.
  • Mon, 11:36: What if we celebrated, cherished and protected all sentient life and not just our own?
  • Mon, 11:44: Being vulnerable (to me at least) means not just recognising my own frailties and mortality but also accepting that I'm no less or more important than all other life and treating it that way.
