I find so much in music to inspire me.

Never a day goes by where I don't listen to something. 

Working at home can be terribly liberating: I can do what I like when I like, and I don't have a boss looking over my shoulder. But, the downside is that my soul often feels in need of connection with another human being. And I miss the conversation and stories that go to make up our lives.

Whilst music doesn't fill the void, it does help with that 'human' sense.

I have stopped my subscription to Spotify. It was becoming an expensive luxury; and there is so much free music on the Web that it feels like I am being lazy in not dedicating time to search out new acts. I can't stand the free version - all those ads drives me insane.

I know that sometimes I share my listens, but now that I have ditched Spotify they will decline. Right now I am loving MixCloud both for the range of artists, the format and the search facility. If you haven't checked it out then I can thoroughly recommend it to you (see below).
