- Mahatma Gandhi
It's axiomatic that absent doing something, anything, change is (simply) not possible.
Of course you knew that...already!
But how much do you plan to do differently in 2015?
It must be me, but I'm bored with reading about another earth-shattering, supposedly new approach, a novel, developed strategy or a faux set of tactics, without more. What I long for, more than anything else, is a world of change:
- Less consumption
- Less hatred
- More compassion
- A givers mindset
No, we just want more.
I don't know what 2015 will bring, but one thing I know is that I'm done with talk. Instead, my actions will define me...more than ever before. This means coming closer to the real me, spending more time with those I love, giving up more of my time without reward, staying close to the land, and writing and producing more.
I know I've been threatening to abandon my social media ways, and whilst I'm sure that's not going to happen, if I do share something I want it to be based on real-world experience, insight and feeling and not some hackneyed, hollow way of living.
My parting shot. Do something every day that has the power to change your world for the better.
You don't need to talk let alone brag about it.
You just need to do.
