  • Tue, 15:46: Do you have a favourite book of 2021? Mine is The Wild Silence by @raynor_winn
  • Wed, 06:00: "You do not need to know precisely what is happening, or exactly where it is all going. What you need is to recognize the possibilities and challenges offered by the present moment, and to embrace them with courage, faith and hope." — Thomas Merton
  • Wed, 08:42: So love this spot.
  • Wed, 09:50: Speaking personally, I hope that when (and if...) we emerge from the pandemic we consider, in a deep and fundamental way, the meaning (in business or otherwise) of collaboration. The narrative of competition is simply too wasteful of everyone's time and effort.
  • Wed, 11:51: So few companies (if any!) listen to their Customer. Mostly, it's a simple transaction with very little inbuilt save monetisation. Imagine a new type of business that truly (even on a spiritual level) understood its Customers' needs and/or wants. It would, IMHO, be revelatory.
  • Wed, 12:07: Disruption in business is a fairly hollow term but as we emerge from CV-19, and the furlough scheme ends, I wonder how many businesses will still survive or have to radically change their approach?

I've posted jack sh*t.

Instead — and don't laugh! — I've been spending the first hour of my day (starting at 5 am) on my handwriting; it's coming on leaps and bounds. And feels nourishing.

I'll be back my fellow LJ campers.

Bless you.
