A very Happy (2020) Christmas.

I hope you manage to make the best of the day — as changed and/or diminished as it is or might be.

Today's post is short.

Simply this: what will 2021 look like?

(Or what would you like it to look like?)

I can't be totally sure but my sense is that everyone I know wants it to be like it was pre-Covid19. And that's understandable. Look what we've lost. God, it's been so bloody awful.

Then again, as I opined yesterday (in a rather loose way), what if this pandemic was a sign for us to stop (or to be stopped)?

To stop and think what a more beautiful world might look like?

Sure, we're never going back to the species-rich, unpolluted planet that our forebears enjoyed but that doesn't mean to say we can't talk about and live out a very different life. Or at least I think that's what the current airwaves should be alive to and not business as usual or more likely holding on by our fingertips before we fall off the proverbial cliff.

More than the digital verbiage and hegemony of a more egalitarian world though, its deeds and actions that matter, and whilst I've not yet turned my existential corner in living with less — much, much less — I know, instinctually, that that's my direction of travel. In fact, I might even make a brand out of it; not less is more but less = life — or something along those lines.
