It's just after 1pm as I write this.

It's deliberately short.

I woke at 5am, wrote my morning pages, read Mr Pressfield's book and got the kids out the door and walked and fed the dogs -- the bearded dragon will have to fend for himself.

I'm at work. I couldn't face a day at Exeter University listening to a multiplicity of people talk about leadership. Instead, I've taken up station at the office, and am trying my best to stay stoked. I've no intention of watching the football match between England and Wales. Others can tell me about it.

I'm determined to finish the outline of my book. I feel more confident now that I've got the semblance of a three act structure down on paper. I need to fill in a few gaps but it's getting there.

Have a good day.
