speaker, coach, consultant

The more I discover who I am, the more I recognise that to answer my muse's call I have to focus on fewer things

I have spent the last few years pursuing my passion for social media, but I never did see it as the end game.

Don't misunderstand me. It's not that I have fallen out of love with social media or had a run in with my conscience ("you could be doing something else with your time...!") but, rather, I have to pursue my own 'Why'. It would be easy to stay connected and engage, but, as much as I enjoy the conversation, I know that it is feeding my Lizard Brain, and taking me further away from my call.

I have talked before about blogging less, cutting down on my social media presence and knowing when to go off line. And that's precisely what I intend to do.

For me writing, speaking and coaching is what causes me to come alive (and of course spending time with my family... and the odd bike ride). I have always known that the amount of time I have committed to social media would not be sustainable, if only because I have to offer more than just my knowledge and application of said platforms.

I'm sorry if this sounds vague. What I'm getting at is that I am committed to a journey and social is merely a facilitator not my raison d'etre.
