“The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.”
― Alan W. Watts, The Culture of Counter-Culture: Edited Transcripts
Well, the day is nearly over.
The weather in Devon has been awesome. Warm, bright and a delight to spend time outside.
How was your day?
I'm still trying to make sense of my work. To be specific, I'm trying to understand if I've left it too late to return to law. Only time will tell.
In the meantime, I'm steadily building my coaching practice based around a non-dual sensibility. I've no plans: whatever happens will happen.
On the family front, it's stress city with the middle daughter. A-levels, musical theatre and cycling. They make for a heady combination. I'm just bearing down on each day.
Tomorrow, I'm off to Bath for another cycle race. Not me. The middle daughter. I don't think she should be racing -- a distinct lack of preparation -- but what do I know? (Like she told me this morning but with slightly more 'fruity' language!)
