Another day

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.” Henry David Thoreau, Walden

We're so lucky.

And yet, we take so much for granted.

Perhaps we've become immune to life's glory but that's only because we're constantly striving for the extraordinary, rather than seeing the beauty in the ordinary.

As you strike out on another day, count your blessings -- even if that means to enjoy the next breath and the one after that -- and remember that life is lived one day at a time, not planning for a better year.
