"“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”"
...And it gets worse.
England are out of the European Champs.
I don’t care.
No, I mean it.
I don’t give a fig.
In fact, I think we deserve it; how can a manager be paid £4.6M against his part-time oppo and produce such a shambolic performance?
And then you’ve got the Labour party. (Don’t argue the semantics between the masses and elite.)
Can anyone in their right mind tell me that Mr C is going to get elected whenever we have a Gen Election?
But surprisingly I’m quite upbeat from where I was a few days ago. No reason save the fact it can’t get any worse, and out of the chaos I’m confident something better will emerge. It might take many years, but it will happen.
Same morning drill -- in case you’re interested. ‘H’ had her driving test but flunked it. I won’t tell you what she said about the examiner but it wasn’t her fault.
Hopefully tonight I’ll get some more packing done.
We got diddly squat done last night. If we’re not careful, we’re going to be working all day and night to clear all our crap -- and by god we’ve got a lot of it.
The day at work is rocking along mutatis mutandis yesterday. Oh, we had a virus alert but thank goodness we sorted it. I’m trying to sort out some old filing -- not the most exacting of jobs but it’s got to be done.
Anyway, I’ll catch up with you all tomorrow.
PS. Have you checked out Christine and the Queens? Still my favourite band of Glasto.
