Creativity is so much more than Art

“Art is what we call...the thing an artist does. It's not the medium or the oil or the price or whether it hangs on a wall or you eat it. What matters, what makes it art, is that the person who made it overcame the resistance, ignored the voice of doubt and made something worth making. Something risky. Something human. Art is not in the ...eye of the beholder. It's in the soul of the artist.” -- Seth Godin

I'd go one stage further: Art unlocks our true Self.

The trouble is we've been brainwashed to believe that: (a) Art has to look attractive; and (b) only a rare few are gifted enough to live their life through their Art.

It's all nonsense.

We can all draw.
We can all write.
We can all write poetry.
We can all take photographs.

Yes, you need to connect with someone, but in the moment you open your heart, mind and love of all things seen, felt and touched, you'll be changed forever.

Don't ask me to describe the exact process because I can't. All I know is that in taking a step into the unknown, iterating as you were possessed and letting go, something spiritual happens.

What are you waiting for?

Seriously.
